This course is for confident English users who would like to communicate with greater fluency, precision and sophistication. It is particularly suitable for learners preparing for professional employment, further or higher education, vocational training or roles requiring strong written and spoken English. Learners will work with more complex language and develop the ability to adapt their communication for different audiences and purposes.
The course may include:
- -Taking part in detailed discussions and debates
- -Presenting and defending a point of view
- -Understanding complex spoken and written information
- -Writing formal emails, reports and structured texts
- -Developing advanced vocabulary and grammar

Eligibility
For learners who:
– Live in West Berkshire
– Are UK citizens, have Settled Status, or are entitled to UK public funds
– Can provide a Biometric Visa and proof of address
Asylum seekers must have lived in the UK for at least six months before enrolling.
