For the 5 years, Parent Village has become a lifeline for families navigating the early years of their child’s life. It’s a warm, welcoming space where parents can breathe, connect, learn and feel genuinely supported during one of the most beautiful, but challenging stages of raising a young child.
Every week, we see the difference this project makes. Parents who arrive overwhelmed leave feeling lighter. New friendships form. Children play, explore and grow in a safe, nurturing environment. Families who might otherwise feel isolated find a community that holds them up. This is further supported by our incredible partners including Home Start, Family Hub, Corn Exchange, Watermill Theatre, NHS representatives, Physiotherapists and other experts that help families navigate this journey.
But as we look ahead, we face a difficult reality: our current funding ends in December.
To continue offering Parent Village as a free, accessible space for local families, we urgently need the support of our business community.
