Creative sessions led by professional artists designed to support wellbeing

Free taster workshops for adults offering creative activities, support and social connection delivered in venues across West Berkshire.

Singing for Recovery: With a focus on wellbeing, this session will use vocal warm ups and singing techniques to promote relaxation as well as an opportunity to sing a long to songs if all kinds. This class is suitable for anyone wanting to sing in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Art for Wellbeing: Learn new art techniques in a relaxed, friendly and sociable atmosphere under the guidance of professional artists and illustrators.

Creative Journaling: A chance to reflect and explore using mixed media, mindfulness and lots of creative fun techniques to produce a private journal just for you.

How to get involved:

All sessions are free for adults of all ages looking for support in wellbeing or looking to build confidence in their ability to meet challenges especially in the context of COVID-19. Places by referral. You can self-refer, or be referred by someone already working to support adults in West Berkshire, for example your local GP, Social Prescriber or community hub.

Funded by Greenham Trust and West Berkshire Council Surviving to Thriving Fund courses are led by professional artists and supported by community navigators and volunteers in partnership with 8 Bells Community Strength.
